For example you can have a story that took place during the time Sozin's comet came in A: TLA but it CAN NOT be alongside any of the canon characters (your character worked with toph and sokka, was on the airship fleet etc, will not be accepted) Can have others OC's as BG characters but main focus will be on on only one

2. no info about your OC's can be written in the Artist's description box

3. only entries in English will be accepted

4. one entry per contestant

The goal is to use your words to show just what your OC is like in appearance, demeanor, attitude etc.

1. Meloncholy NightIt was a regular day at the Foggy Swamp Shop; Nami had just finished tuning up a particularly difficult Satomobile and was nearly ready to throw in the towel. Her fellow workers and family had all retreated to the break room and were listening to the Pro-Bending Championship. Nami knew she would end up listening in, that always seemed to happen when the Wolfbats were involved. It was a pull that no matter how hard she tried she couldn't escape. Sighing, she got the distinct feeling she should be listening with her family.
Taking off her blue bandana she allowed her long black hair to fall freely around her. Her hair was her one point of vanity; she always kept it smooth and healthy. She threw her wrench into a random corner and winced when it made a loud clanging noise. Laughing it off, Nami ambled into the break room and sat herself between the twins Tho and Jun. Once she sat down she realized it was simply the pre game show in which the announcers were discussing which team had a mor

Title: Accusation
The sleek-haired assassin had toned her reflexes to catch the slightest movement, the gentlest change in the air, the softest sound. She did not miss the glances, the batted eyelashes, the suggestive grins that the redheaded performer was thrown her way. Jealousy boiled in the pit of her stomach, overwhelming her like a plague. Raja was not blind to these advances, this Mai knew. Her coy winks triggered the assassin’s burning anger. Mai berated herself for feeling so possessive, so selfish, but her emotions were their own entity, and they were out of her control.
She threw open the drape to Raja’s tent. The redhead quickly covered herself, clad only in breast wrappings and loose pants. Mai blushed wildly. She nearly muttered an apology before she steeled her resolve, remaining where she stood.
Raja narrowed her eyes playfully at the unexpected visitor. “Forgive me, had I known you were coming, I would’ve dressed a

4. Platonic Hate - Contest Entry"Spirts!" Rika cursed, pacing the floor to their hide-out. "I hate him! I… Ugh! I hate him!!!" She rambled, making wild gestures with her hands as she usually did when she was exerting herself.
Her friend Kai was lounging on his sleeping bag, fidgeting with their crappy radio, attempting to get a reception in the underground quarters. The small boy sighed in boredom, already knowing this tale. "Why do you hate him?" He asked distractedly, out of habit instead of interest.
"Because!" She squealed, stomping her foot, involuntary flames engulfing her fists. "He's an asshole! He's a sleaze, and a cheat, and thinks he has the entire world at his feet!"
"Really?" Her fellow Firebender muttered in disinterest.
"Yes, really! I want to break his stupid ass face and singe his stupid ass hair! Then we'll see how many fangirls he has!" She ranted. The young woman plopped down on the floor, picking up the newspaper she'd hurdled at it moments before and, with a flip of her choppy, shoulder-len

5. Ashes in the WindA young airbender, around the age of seven, stood in a hallway in the Eastern Air Temple. She was practicing her airbending, blowing gusts of wind all around her.
Suddenly, footsteps could be heard resonating around the hall, and two nuns, Sisters Nyima and Hariti, appeared. The girl immediately stopped airbending, though she knew she had been caught.
"Kona, what are you doing?" Sister Nyima asked. "You know you're not supposed to practice indoors."
"But Sister Iio said we weren't allowed outside, because the boys from the Southern Air Temple are here today, to pick out a bison." The girl, Kona, argued. "And I need to practice every day if I'm going to become the greatest airbender ever!"
Sister Nyima shook her head, chuckling. "You can practice later, Kona," she said. "Now go find Sister Ceba and help her with the younger children; they're all very energetic today."
"Yes, Sister Nyima…" Kona grumbled, kicking at the ground. As the two nuns disappeared around the corner, she sighe

8. Transcending Lifetimes"You should stop this nonsense, my friend." The old man said as he considered his next move on the pi sho board. "I can only do so much to protect you." The twenty-five year old man sitting across from Avatar Aang was an idealist with a genius-level intellect and a charismatic attitude. He was also someone who had experienced more betrayal and witnessed more injustice than almost anyone his age.
Kohun had started what he coined the" Equalist Movement" about a year and a half ago. Originally it was nothing more than non-benders getting together and complaining about discrimination over a few beers, but in a short time Kohun had created a political force that had moved on to activism and protests, some of which had even gone to the extreme.
Kohun only rolled his eyes at the Avatar. "Aang, I know you are only doing what you think is right, but non-benders deserve to be respected. My methods of getting public attention may be… unorthodox, but they are non-violent.".
Aang smiled at his

9. Chasing the Wind intro"Take them alive! Azulon wants them alive!" The harsh order rang out over the small improvised battlefield, blasts of fire lighting up the nighttime scene. Four mismatched warriors stood up against twenty firebenders, a raiding party that had been heading for an Earth village.
A tall redheaded Eath Nation soldier wielding a jutte-staff planted the butt of her weapon into the sternum of one of the firebenders, letting a cold smile grace her lips when she felt the bone shatter. One of her companions, a short earthbender with messy brown hair took a running leap and landed hard, opening a fissure in the ground that sank two of his enemies up to their chests. He turned and muscles rippled across his arms, straining the armor pieces he wore as he pulled a boulder out of the ground and hurtled it toward a third firebender.
"Nice one!" An older waterbender smirked, and without flinching drove the back of her gloved fist into the face of a firebender that was attempting to sneak up on her.

10. LoK Another View Part 1: Normal Day OutSerko shivered in the blizzard as he swore quietly to himself. He blew into his gloved hands as he marched, the warmth of his bending working out as a lifesaver. The young firebender spotted three penguins marching next to him. He smiled as one seemed to nudge him, until it pecked at his shin.
"Stupid birds!" he yelled as he trudged along. The moon shined brightly, even through the hard gusts of the wind and snow.
Soon enough, Serko spotted his village. It was one of the many pockets of towns on the North Pole and the Northern Water tribe. His village was relatively large and was a center of trade for other villages. Serko is also the only or one of the only firebenders raised in the Northern Water tribe by his Fire Nation father and Water tribe mother.
Candles were lit inside each igloo or tent, keeping the inhabitants warm. Serko trudged through, trying to get to his own home near the center of the village. The winds continued to push down on him as he adjusted the strap of his fur k

11. True love part 19 Mia's POVShe couldn't believe what happened in the past years but more important in the past nine, maybe ten moths. How much she lost and how little she gained.
But she still remembers the good times, when everything was beautiful and she had nothing to worry about. The moment when years ago, she met the love of her life at the Southern Water Tribe, the moment when she met Chan. When she looked deep in his eyes she fell in love with him.
She still remembers how she had to hide her relationship from her mother, because she was afraid she might be against it. This fear was the result of being raised in two opposite worlds, the Fire Nation palace where she was taught how to be mannered and how to be a princess and the Water Tribe where you need to be rough to survive, the place where her father thought her to waterbend, the place where she learned that life isn't always manners and being a princess. But the most important, the place where she felt in love.
Mia, tried to remember every beautiful th
